I can confidently say that Melvin and his team are the best in the business when it comes to framing, foundation, and overall construction. Professional! Highly recommended! I received a recommendation for Mel’s Builders from a good friend of mine in the construction industry. He guaranteed me that Melvin and his crew would do great work and be there every day until the job was done.

From the start of the project until we received our final signatures from the city the crew did not miss a day. The work that they did looks amazing and we had no issues with any inspections. My family and I decided to live in the house during construction. All of the workers were very courteous to my family and went as far as to make bridges for my wife and kids to use to safely access the house when there were large open trenches for the footings. Though this is one example of going above and beyond, there were plenty of other instances where they made the site a safe environment for my family. My wife and I never had any complaints about the workers, they were all respectful.

Because we did an addition to our house, we had multiple trades come through. Melvin’s crew worked well with all of the other trades. Also, when the trades that I lined up were delayed or would have stalled the project with their start times Melvin would have a contact ready to go. Each of the contacts Melvin gave me had much faster response times, great work quality, and came in with bids below the original bids we received.

Our project would have taken twice as long at minimum if it wasn’t for Melvin. He also won over many of the neighbors as well with our project moving much faster than all of the other similar projects in the area. We consider ourselves to be very lucky that we found Melvin and Mel’s Builders.
